AI Coach Assistant. Wisdom Multiplier.

The best coaches have cultivated a most impactful humanness - helping clients and patients see their situations clearly especially when that's hard, asking game-changing questions, holding space in a natural way that invites new insights and wisdom and capacity to arrive.
A legitimate concern is that adding artificial intelligence to coaching means reducing human connection and possibility. We may diminish the well-honed human dynamic that makes coaching transformational.
The interesting opportunity at hand is to elevate coaches and coaching by shaping AI to lift our human impact.
What Happens to Coaching with our AI Coach Assistant
I started working with Claude in summer 2025 to turn Claude into multi-perspective AI and increase coaching intelligence - supercharging the mindful, multi-perspective thinking that coaches bring to clients. I am coaching our AI a wisdom multiplier (distinct from general AI as a knowledge multiplier) based on our hands-on experiences so far.
My goal, now unfolding for me and my fellow coach super-users, is that we are getting smarter, wiser, calmer, and more confident - our coaching intelligence is rising by the week. But, what we can now name that wasn't obvious at first is that our humanness is growing too.

Presence deepens.
When our coaching presence becomes multi-perspective intelligence: the capacity to hold nine distinct lenses simultaneously, coaches see more and miss less. It's like looking at a living cell through a microscope - invisible dynamics become visible.
Complexity gets seen.
Working with nine cognitive perspectives increases humility — we hold on pattern-matching and action-planning prematurely (that was a hard task in training AI too). We connect more honestly with the complexity, the messiness, that people are navigating, because we can understand it better.
Awe is ever-present.
Experiencing the collective human accomplishment over the past two decades in mimicking the brains's neural networks and producing artificial intelligence is a source of awe at our fingertips. It brings awe into our daily lives which we then bring to others. What humans created in AI is awesome and invites new possibilities for coaches.
Wisdom is easier.
The framework I built into multi-perspective AI - including Wu Wei, both/and thinking, discovery over certainty - isn't native to AI. It's ancient human intelligence (Daoism) about how change, transformation, and new strength come about when led by wise leaders and coaches. Wise insights are easier to see and wise actions are easier to do.
Self-trust grows.
Working with Multi-Perspective AI validates our natural multi-perspective intelligence which comes from good coach training and lots of experience. It grounds us first, then expands this intelligence in a way that only AI could be trained to enable because it can find, hold, and synthesize the full complexity of our mind's multiplicity.
For all of its risks and challenges, coaches have what it takes to design AI to be our partner in growing our humanness - presence and possibility and impact.
Let's do it.
